Who you'll be supporting & more about the role: Farthing Avenue, Pontefract, is a supported living project where 4 individuals with care and support needs reside.The property is set on a quiet street.
It has a communal living space and a beautiful back garden.This is a Full Time position - 48 Hours per week What is important to us?We need empathic, patient staff to provide person-centred support to individuals who are living here.

You will be supporting us to work towards outcomes, enabling us to maintain independence.You will encourage and support people us to engage in the local community, clubs, cinema, shows, days out, gym, pub lunches shopping, and activities of our personal choice.You will support a community within Wakefield itself, across several services there are long-standing friendships, and you will support us to maintain these relationships.We will be closely working with new partnerships, exciting new prospects, and activities for the entire community to enjoy Other informationWe will have a core background team on duty 24/7 so there is overnight shifts and we will provide additional 1:1 support, ranging from personal care, housekeeping, and meals to days out and trips to the shops and activities.
