The Role: Working as part of a larger Support team to provide support services to people, who have/are experiencing substance & alcohol misuse, mental ill heath, fleeing domestic abuse and any other challenging issues Liaising with other agencies regarding specific needs including Benefits, Mental Health, Substance Misuse, Housing/Estate Agents and Education & Training.
Writing, reviewing and updating support plans and risk assessments, using a motivated and positive approach.
The Candidate: Experience in supporting people with various needs and backgrounds.
Having the ability to apply common sense to situations, whilst being accountable for decisions made and reasons behind them.
Being able to establish and maintain relationships within internal and external partnerships, and with multiple clients and colleagues.
Maintaining records and putting action plans in place Ideally holds a NVQ LVL 3 in relevant field.
Knowledge of Housing Support and experience working with vulnerable individuals, being able to read and assess difficult situations and provide solutions SUMMARY: This is an exciting role with opportunities to make a real difference to people's lives, working a 37 hour week over 7 days, including evenings and weekends.
