Job summary The band 2 Support service administrator / Receptionist would provide a professional and friendly welcome to service users, visitors and staff during their allotted shift.
The successful candidate should be enthusiastic and motivated in supporting all visitors to the building.
We are looking for: Someone to give directions and advice to people who are unfamiliar with the unit and services provided.
Someone who will develop a sound knowledge of the work of the unit to support the advice function of the role A Self-motivated person with excellent time management skills.
An excellent communicator, with proven organisational skills and the ability to work independently and accept direction from the Service manager.
Someone to develop a sound working knowledge of the operation of the CCTV system.
Someone who enjoys a varied role, with the ability to problem solve, negotiate and resolve issues as they arise.
You will need to be flexible to meet service requirements working as part of a dedicated reception team.
Main duties of the job The job holder will take responsibility for providing a professional and friendly welcome to service users, visitors and staff during their allocated shift.
You will create and maintain excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills to ensure effective working relationships at all levels, internal and external to the Trust.
You will work with the Identified Team Leader and the Admin Support Service Manager ensuring identified job plans are reviewed, live and support the developing demands of this role.
