We have permanent contracts for full-time, part-time positions available.
The Role You'll play a HUGE part in making a difference in the lives of young people and adults with disabilities and additional support needs in the Airdrie and Coatbridge area.
The person we support is moving into their own home making it an exciting time to join our team.
You'll support them with daily living tasks which will involve support to appointments, shopping, meal planning, cooking, housework, finances, medication and personal care.
No two days are ever the same and you'll find yourself getting involved in activity clubs, shopping, going to the cinema and the pub to name a few!
About you We recruit on values and transferrable skills, so you don't need previous experience in care as a Support Worker or qualifications to start your career with us.
We'll pay you for your training and give you all the skills you'll need.
We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualifications and yearly SSSC registration fees!
For these opportunities, a driver with a full UK driving license is essential the people we support have their own mobility cars.
All we'll need you to bring is: - A caring and compassionate attitude The ability to work well in a team Good communication and organisational skills A positive attitude with a willingness to learn The ability to cook Confidence in the use of computers A full UK driving licence Shift Patterns We understand that you would like to have a good work/life balance and it's incredibly important to us that you have this, so we will try to be as flexible as possible with our shift patterns.
Our team currently deliver support on a variety of shifts, 7 days a week including sleepovers.
Weekends and public holidays would form part of your rota in addition to the occasional sleepover on a rotational basis.

If you're successful in joining our team, you will be expected to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and must be willing to work towards a SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare as required for SSSC registration.
We will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us.

Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania or Spain) within the last 10 years while over the age of 18, you will be asked to provide a criminal record certificate from the relevant government/police authority as part of our pre-employment checks.
