We have full-time, part-time and relief opportunities available.The RoleAs a Support Practitioner, you'll support and assist two amazing brothers who have Autism.
You'll support the gentlemen on both a 2:1 and lone working basis with all aspects of their daily living, including cooking and preparing meals, personal care, administering medication and managing personal finances.
We're also looking for you to be enthusiastic and creative when supporting them with their hobbies.
This can include things like going to watch Celtic, going for walks, watching their favourite TV shows and playing video games as well as some pranks!It would be great if you have a full UK, manual driving licence with at least one years' experience on the road as the gentlemen have their own car but this isn't a deal breaker for the right candidates!About youAlthough it would be great if you do have experience in care, it's not essential as we recruit on values and transferrable skills.
We'll pay you for your training and will even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees too!What we'll need you to bring: -Good, clear communication skills (both verbal and written)A caring attitude Respect for boundaries and people's homesA positive approach to learningAn understanding of the importance of routines and following guidelinesConfidence in the use of computersThe people we support do have barriers to their communication, so it's essential that you bring an excellent grasp of the English language.Shift PatternsAs we're dedicated to providing the best support that is tailored to the needs of each individual, these opportunities will involve working early mornings, days and evenings.
Waking nights, weekends and public holidays would also form part of your rota on a rotational basis.
You will be paid an additional supplement of £20 per night for every waking night shift you work.Sound interesting?
