About the role: As a Supply Teacher, you will have the flexibility to choose your working days, whether it's one day a week or a full five-day schedule.
You will step into various classrooms to deliver engaging lessons, support student learning, and ensure a positive classroom environment in the absence of the regular teacher.
Essential Qualities That We Are Looking For: Deliver pre-set lesson plans across a range of subjects.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a productive learning environment.
Collaborate with school staff to ensure continuity in education.
Support students with their learning, answering questions and providing encouragement.
Ensure a smooth and seamless transition for students during the teacher's absence.
The Successful Candidate Will: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching in secondary schools is preferred.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Flexibility and adaptability to different teaching environments.
To work with GSL Education as Supply Teacher, you should: Have the right to work in the UK.
Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
Have an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
