Job Title: Supply Teacher Location: North West England, Lancashire, Lancaster Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £120 - £150 Per day Job Duties: Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher Follow the lesson plans provided by the school and ensure all learning objectives are met Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment Provide feedback to regular teachers and school staff on student progress and behaviour Participate in school meetings and professional development sessions as required Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Previous experience working as a teacher or supply teacher Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments Effective classroom management skills Ability to build rapport with students and establish a positive learning atmosphere Preferred Qualifications: Additional training in Special Education Needs (SEN) or Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) Experience working with diverse student populations Working Conditions: Work in various schools across the Lancashire area Full-time hours with potential for additional responsibilities or long-term placements Collaborate with different teaching staff and school teams All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
