Job summary Playdays Day Nursery is based on site at The James Cook University Hospital and is registered by OFSTED the Early Years directorate to cater for 86 children a day.
The age range covers children from 6 weeks until school age.
The nursery is open from until Monday to Friday for 52 weeks throughout the year.
To provide a caring and stimulating environment for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.
To ensure the health and well being of children in our care.
To actively contribute to the monitoring and recording of children's development and the sharing of information with other professionals, both internally and externally.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Supply Nursery Assistants to join our team.
The job will suit someone who wants to work as and when hours and you can pick and choose when you are available this can work around you childcare arrangements or around Courses.
The post may also suit newly qualified practitioners who want to gain some additional experience while looking for permanent posts.
Main duties of the job To adhere to OFSTED Standards and Regulations.
To ensure compliance with child protection procedures.
To adhere to Trust and Nursery Policies and Procedures.
To maintain the health and safety of children in our care, carrying out risk assessments when required.
To take the lead in challenging and providing quality care and education.
