Are you a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant looking to support children in their academic and personal development?
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our 'Good' Ofsted-rated Primary School in the High Wycombe area, starting in January 2025, with the potential for a permanent role.
This position is flexible and can be part-time or full-time, depending on your availability.

Job Description:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting students and teachers in the classroom.
Your role will involve collaborating with teaching staff to plan and deliver lessons and providing personalized support to students, including one-on-one work with children who have additional learning needs.
You will help ensure students have the guidance and support they need to make academic progress.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure a safe and secure environment both within the school and during out-of-school activities.
Implement school policies as directed by the Headteacher and relevant documentation.
Represent the school positively within the community.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information encountered during duties.
Adhere to the school's Equal Opportunities and Health and Safety policies.
Supervise and manage pupil behavior, including during lunchtimes and breaks, following school policies and individual behavior management plans.

Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) or in a similar role within an educational setting is desirable.
A genuine passion for supporting students' academic and personal development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team or independently.
Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude towards challenges.
Experience working with SEN (Special Educational Needs) children is an asset.

Qualifications:
Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
Relevant qualifications in Teaching Assistance or Education are advantageous but not essential.
