Due to continued growth across Parr Group of companies we have an opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Manager / Procurement Manager to join out team primarily based in Belfast but will require travel to England and Scotland monthly.
Job Purpose: The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for the overall management of procurement, supplier relationships, and the efficient coordination of goods and services within the companys facilities management operations.
This role ensures that supply chain processes support the business objectives, optimize costs, and meet the companys service delivery standards.
Key Responsibilities: 1.
Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with business goals, focusing on cost efficiency, service quality, and timely delivery of materials and services.
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure alignment between supply chain management and service delivery requirements.

Procurement Management: Lead the procurement of goods and services, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring the best possible terms for cost, quality, and delivery.

Supplier Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers.
Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular assessments to ensure service levels, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Inventory Control & Logistics: Oversee the management of inventory levels to ensure adequate supply without overstocking.
Manage logistics and distribution networks to ensure the timely delivery of materials to different facilities.

Risk Management: Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Ensure contingency plans are in place for supply chain disruptions, such as shortages or supplier failures.

Budgeting & Reporting: Manage the supply chain budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and transparency.
Generate regular reports on supply chain performance, including cost savings, supplier performance, and procurement efficiency 7.
Compliance & Sustainability: Ensure compliance with relevant legal requirements, industry standards, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) policies.
Lead initiatives that promote sustainability and reduce the environmental impact of the supply chain.
Person Specification: Education & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (required).
Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, APICS, or equivalent) are preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the facilities management or related industries.
Proven track record in procurement, supplier management, and logistics operations.
Experience with managing budgets, negotiating contracts, and handling large-scale supply chains.
Skills & Competencies: Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
Excellent negotiation and contract management abilities.
Proficiency in supply chain management software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
