Role Overview: We are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Executive to provide support to the Import Supply Chain department.
The successful candidate will be required to have existing import experience ensuring all administrative systems and documents are in place for products from worldwide suppliers.
Furthermore, these processes should allow the Business to ensure full compliance and the ability to track all shipments with full audit trials.
This is an exciting opportunity within the Inbound Supply Chain Department of a rapidly growing E Commerce Business.
The ideal candidate will work well within a small team, confidently handling queries and supporting improving KPI's whilst also establishing trends and working with our internal colleagues, carriers, and other suppliers to improve service performance and reduce the overall cost to serve our customers.
A good level of analysis and Excel skills are required, along with the ability to communicate appropriately and confidently.
Key Duties & Responsibilities: Control UK & international shipments to ensure orders are delivered on time, keeping all relevant teams aware of the progress of all imports from authorisation of the order to acceptance by the goods in team.
Obtaining shipping quotes to ensure all goods are moved on the most cost-effective rates in the market.
Customs Compliance.
Complete customs documents to ensure records are accurate with HMRC legislation.
Inbound forecasting & stock reports.
Arrange supply chain consolidations.
Update and control the progress of Purchase Orders through internal systems, email and other communication tools.
Liaise with suppliers to ensure orders are in process and will achieve delivery targets.
Communicate with carriers to ensure collections are made from suppliers.
Assist with supplier invoice reconciliation as and when required.
Support the merchandising and Buying Teams with any inbound related queries.
Log all data systematically, current and accurately through communicating accurate orderbook information to the wider business.
Reconcile brand invoices against purchase orders.
Sign off freight invoices.
Arrange Stock returns.
Support with waste management EPR Data Reporting data.
Investigate order discrepancies, overs, under, damages.
Support the Inbound goods in warehouse team with queries.
Attend internal and external meetings.
Undertake specific administrative tasks as agreed with Line Manager.

2-3 years+ International Import experience – Air freight / Sea freight / Road freight.
Ability to communicate information effectively, in a clear & concise manner.
Competent using Excel to record, analyse and share information.
Ability to work to deadlines and manage their own workload.
Problem solving / ability to interpret data.
Must have a flexible attitude / approach towards work.
Excellent time management skills Experience and understanding of customs procedures.
