Salary Range: £57,546 - £63,940
Hours: Full-time (12 Month Secondment/Fixed Term Contract)
Working Pattern: Hybrid, spending at least two days per week at one of our hub locations.

About This Opportunity We're passionate about enabling the group to deliver against our environmental strategy ambitions, protect nature, and support the UK's ambition to be Net Zero by 2050. The Supply Chain & Technology Sustainability Team, within Group Sourcing & Supplier Management, is responsible for improving the sustainability impacts of our supply chain, including reducing carbon emissions and ensuring compliance with broader Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) requirements.
This role is essential in supporting the assessment and compliance of our suppliers against evolving ESG requirements. We aim to reduce supply chain emissions by 50% by 2030, on the path to net zero by 2050.
We're looking for someone passionate about contributing to a more sustainable future, with opportunities for cross-divisional engagement and external collaboration.
What You'll Do Process Improvements: Identify and embed improvements in sourcing and supplier management processes.
Supplier Engagement: Engage and assess around 160 suppliers regarding their climate transition plans.
Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with Group colleagues and external organizations to embed sustainability values.
Data Collection and Analysis: Create and analyze reports to recommend pathways for improvement.
Research and Industry Awareness: Collaborate on ESG developments.
What You'll Need Successful track record of owning and delivering projects.

Good people skills for effective teamwork.
Clear and succinct communication skills.
Problem-solving and analytical skills using diverse data sources.
Confidence with Microsoft tools including Excel and PowerPoint.
It Would Be Great If You Had Awareness of ESG management good practices or experience in sourcing and supplier management.
