Position Overview: To support continued expansion, our client is seeking an experienced and hands-on Supply Chain and Operations Manager who is commercially astute with robust analytical skills and substantial experience in logistics and warehouse management.
Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP systems are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities: Reporting to senior management and collaborating closely with other directors, the successful candidate will have the following responsibilities: Stock Management: Monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring timely ordering and shipping from suppliers to meet demand.
Purchasing: Work closely with the product team to negotiate the best prices while ensuring timely manufacturing and shipping of products.
Logistics: Oversee the shipment of goods, ensuring timely delivery while controlling costs, and keep the team and customers informed about product arrival times.
Warehouse Management: Supervise the management of the warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
Customer Service: Implement and maintain robust systems to address customer service issues promptly and effectively.
Health and Safety: Assist directors in maintaining and improving health and safety standards within the organisation.
