As part of our ongoing expansion, we seek a motivated Supplier Performance Engineer to join our team.
Position Summary Your mission in your role of Supplier Performance Engineer will be to continuously measure, analyse, and improve supplier performance, while managing risks and crises, to enhance the overall supply chain efficiency.

Having a diverse skill set covering manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, quality, and effective communication and relationship-building will be necessary to drive your mission.
This role will primarily work on-site at OrganOx Oxford Manufacturing Centre, with frequent travel to supplier locations both within and outside the UK. Major Responsibilities Output and effectiveness daily follow up for critical vendors Deploy standards performance metrics Measure performance gaps, identify root cause and manage action plan Establish a calendar and Lead Monthly Supplier Performance Review aligned with standards and routines Manage improvement plan, performance recovery plans with related needs, in line with category leaders and support services Review/adjust performance metrics, under guidance of accountable functions and maintain data accuracy Communicate performance metrics and dashboard to all stakeholders and components categories Escalate to management critical or blocking points Improve Supplier Performance and Process: Routinely review Supplier Performance Metrics for appropriateness and opportunities Manage supplier continuous improvement actions plan Lead supplier assessments (Demand, Maturity, MRP2, Load and Capacity...) Coordinate cross functions teams (Supplier Quality, Procurement, Supply Chain…) Identify and document best practices from suppliers. Deploy Supplier Logistic Agreements (Safety Stock, Lead Time, EOQ, VMI, Blanket Order… ) Structure and lead supplier development plan for appropriate suppliers (APQP, VSM, BCP...) Participate in Supplier Selection process for new products, Capacity Expansion Crisis and Risks Management: Support supplier crises management Manage and follow up action plan to mitigate the risk Manage the hyper care resolution plan and drive swift resolution Skills and Experience Good practical skills and experience in the supply chain management and supplier engagement (essential) Experience: 5 / 10 years in supply-chain, in an industrial company The knowledge of continuous improvement processes and tools Leadership Analytical and problem-solving skills SAP: able to navigate within and understand basic reporting extract Technical Culture is a nice to have It is expected to have anywhere between 20 to 50% of travel to supplier, in location both within and outside the UK. Qualifications Diploma: Master or Engineer degree in supply-chain or technical or similar demonstrable experience working in supply chain in equivalent roles.
