The Segment Communications Supervisor will report to the Director of Segment Communications and be responsible for supporting the development and execution of comprehensive segment communications strategies.Focused on tailoring global communications strategy locally and driving strategic communications at segment level across our global business.Key Responsibilities: Uses insight to inform and implement communications strategy to engage key audiences:Implements Segment-level narratives, inclusive of developing Segment messages connected to key business momentsSupports the development and execution of communications plans for Segment-wide business objectivesBuilds strong, trusted relationships with the Global, Market and Segment teams.Represents and advocates for Segments to Global Communications, and vice versa.Serves as a strategic thought partner to the Director and Manager of Segment Communications.Accountable for partnering with Global Communications Team to shape and execute social/digital presence for SegmentDevelops internal personnel announcements for direct reports to Segment Presidents and - as appropriate - Managing Director transitions.Leads the creations of materials for Segment Presidents ahead of market engagementsWorks with business SMEs and agencies to develop individual scripts, creative, presentations for key moments to support Segment PresidentsIdentifies and elevates best in class examples from Segment and markets to showcase in global channelsQualifications:Prior communications experience - both in strategy development and executionOutstanding writing and editing skills, with an eye to messaging for a range of internal and external communication channels and audience typesStrong verbal communications skillsNatural self-starter who demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities, can focus and implement, with an eye for detailEffective collaborator who will work cross functionally across teams and geographies/ time-zones.Curiosity and appreciation for new topics, issues, and cultures.Additional Information:At McDonald's we are People from all Walks of Life...People are at the heart of everything we do, and they make the McDonald's experience.
