We're looking for a Supervisor to join our Transportation team based in Wymondham.

Location : Wymondham, Norfolk Hours: 45 hours per week - 9 month fixed term contract What will you be responsible for?
As a Supervisor, you'll be working within the Stores team, supporting them in the effective management of site resources, labour teams and subcontractors, ensuring the safe delivery of the works and in accordance with the surface dressing programme.
Your day to day will include: Following safe systems of work, method statements and risk assessments checking work is being carried out in a safe manner in accordance with Kier SHEMS, implementing and complying with Kier Group's policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring quality of works to the required standard, specifications and record, advising management and recording non-conformance Effectively managing and overseeing the day–to-day operational activity working within client specification and providing the best service possible to our customers, investigating and recording all accidents, damage and injuries, informing the Line Manager as per Kier Policy, reporting anything which may impact / change the contract programme Producing and filing daily records appropriately, agreeing of operative's timesheets and ensuring authorisation from the Manager prior to submission to the Payroll team by 9am on Monday the following week Ensure active management of operative wellbeing, including health surveillance and sickness absence management of all operatives Recording HAVS records for operatives using vibrating equipment, giving site inductions, effective toolbox talks and briefings What are we looking for?
This role of Supervisor is great for you if: Experience working in the highway maintenance industry with general knowledge and experience in surface treatments Able to use Microsoft Office effectively Full drivers licence We're all about finding potential here at Kier, and transferrable skills are always welcome!
