Job Description Melton Primary School - Woodbridge, Suffolk, IP12 1PG £24,404 - £25,183 per annum pro rata 30 hours per week, 38 weeks per year Part Time Permanent Reference: 6833 Required as soon as possible
Due to an increase in pupil numbers, Melton Primary School are looking to appoint two positive, adaptable Learning Support Assistants to join our supportive team.
We are looking for people who are passionate about supporting the development of children to work one to one, or in small groups, with children across our school.
These roles are suited to current Learning Support Assistants, HLTAs, Nursery Nurses, qualified teachers taking a career break or someone who has a genuine love of children and would like to begin a career in education (training is provided).
You will: have strong communication skills be able to use your own initiative as well as to work as part of a team have strong inter-personal skills including the ability to use judgement and common sense support children in fulfilling their academic potential but recognise that school is about much more than that value the relationship you build with children have a calm and patient approach enjoy learning and be able to share your enthusiasm with children value our children in their richness and diversity.
