HMP Winchester has free onsite parking as well as excellent transport links - there is a bus stop opposite the site and the train station is a 10 minute walk.
Join the Recovery Team and empower those whom wish to make changes in their behaviour to promote health and well-being through recovery from drugs and alcohol.
This is a crucial role within the healthcare team, making a real difference to patients, and delivering outstanding care.
HMP Winchester is a remand prison with capacity of around 650.
Hours: This is a full time role, hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Salary: This position is full time , youll receive an annual salary up to £30,684 per annum - depending on experience.

Some of your duties will include: Delivering outstanding care to psycho social patients, seeking out, listening to, and acting on their feedback - ensuring that their care is personalised and tailored to the individual Providing a programme of psycho social interventions Provide information and advice on substance misuse, alcohol, smoking cession, blood borne viruses and safe sex practices Delivering care on a 1-1 basis as well as group sessions Assisting the healthcare team on the wings and in house blocks If you are interested in career development, we have a wide range of opportunities for you to develop your skills and experience, which include both internal and external options for development and learning.
