Job Description As a tutor, you will work one-on-one with students aged 5-18, providing support in Maths, English, and other essential subjects.
Sessions will take place in various settings, including our office, students' homes, and public spaces like libraries.
Your key responsibilities will include: Conducting engaging tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs and learning styles Assessing each student's current knowledge and strengths, and creating personalised learning plans to meet their academic goals Preparing students for exams and assessments by focusing on essential skills and study habits Documenting student progress after each session, with detailed reports capturing achievements and areas for improvement Communicating with educational stakeholders to align on student goals and provide progress updates Requirements and Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: Experience in an educational setting, such as tutoring or teaching, where transferable skills have been applied Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and educational stakeholders Excellent organisational skills, with attention to detail for documenting and tracking student progress Motivation to create a positive and encouraging learning environment Flexibility and adaptability, comfortable working in various settings Reliability, self-motivation, and the ability to manage a flexible schedule
