Sub Assembly Technician

As part of the Alpine long-term plan to compete for F1 World Championships we are looking to add to our talented team with individuals who are motivated to significantly contribute to our relentless pursuit of excellence.
Within the Build and Test Department we are looking for a Sub Assembly Technician whose primary role will be to carry out assembly, disassembly and parts servicing for a variety of departments and key projects.
The Role:The key accountabilities of this role are: Assembly/disassembly of all sections of our F1 cars to a very high standardAssembly/disassembly of various mechanical assemblies to meet the needs of our event scheduleResponsible for accurate recording of relevant documentationEscalation and fixing of faults during build stagesWork closely with design & engineering department to continuously improve assembly and test proceduresReflect ownership in any activity by ensuring all work is carried to the highest standards, ensuring correct use and maintenance of the equipment and prompt escalation of any issues out of their control.Responsible for maintaining the workshops, equipment cleanliness and safe conditions of workResponsible for complying with Quality and Health and Safety guidelines at all times The Person:You will have the ability to read engineering drawings and understand technical specification documents.
Additionally you will ensure accurate records, reporting any results and findings in a clear and efficient manner.
You may have held a similar role previously or have a relevant engineering qualification.
Good mechanical skills are essential.
Teamwork, collaboration and flexibility are key in this position with the ability to remain focussed at busy times.
