Student Veterinary Nurse - Ruddington Veterinary Centre Practice Site:Ruddington Veterinary Centre (Clifton Triangle)Ruddington Veterinary Centre (Ruddington)We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as a Student Veterinary Nurse at Ruddington Veterinary Centre.

Some of the duties will include: Nursing care to patientsAssisting Vets and Nurses in restraining animals for treatmentCleaning, walking, and feeding of patientsPreparation of emergency and operating facilitiesGeneral cleaning and maintenance dutiesRunning internal lab samplesAnswering emergency calls Covering the receptionist desk, including answering queries, booking appointments and taking payments What we're looking for in our new Student Veterinary Nurse: Receptionist or PCA experience would be preferredAn excellent communicator with strong empathyExcellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the publicExperience in animal welfare, including feeding, cleaning, medicating and handling and a high level of understanding of how to meet the welfare needs of animalsResilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situationsA positive attitude and excellent teamwork skillsFive GCSE's at Grade C/4 or above so you are eligible for college enrolment What we can offer you:We know that benefits are key and that your personal benefits priorities will differ from others, so
