We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic, experienced, and adaptable Student Support and Development Officer to lead our dedicated Student Support and Wellbeing team in the School of Medical Sciences.
In this pivotal role, you will be at the heart of our Student Wellbeing and Pastoral service, ensuring that our students receive top-notch support.
You'll collaborate with key internal and external partners, including academics, the NHS, Counselling Services, and Disability Advice and Support Services, to foster a collaborative approach to student wellbeing.
What You'll Do: Lead a team providing front-line welfare and pastoral support.
Oversee the operational delivery of mitigating circumstances, change of circumstances, and attendance and engagement monitoring.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders to ensure a seamless support system for our students.
What We're Looking For: An experienced manager with excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate a team.
A deep understanding of academic and pastoral support procedures, particularly in postgraduate and undergraduate education.
Proven experience in providing pastoral support to students.
