Job summary **Internal HDFT Applicants Only** The purpose of this post is to train Registered Adult nurses in Midwifery practice.
The intensive training nature of the post requires the post holder to work under supervision across all areas of maternity care, contributing to the delivery of care to women and their babies whilst developing knowledge, skills and competence to attain an MSc Midwifery qualification and Midwifery registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
Main duties of the job To communicate effectively with women and birthing people and their families throughout the antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal stages under the supervision of the Registered Midwife (Practice Supervisor/Assessor).
To role model the trust values, including compassionate and inclusive leadership in order to shape the creation of a collective leadership culture within the trust.
