Job Description Structural Engineer (Architectural Glazing & Aluminium)  Remote (UK-based), with occasional visits to project sites.

Our client is a UK national leader, known for delivering prestigious projects across the country.
As part of their growth, they are seeking a Structural Engineer to join the business, working alongside internal stakeholders to advise, design, and deliver exceptional solutions in architectural glazing and aluminium.
Key Responsibilities: Advise and guide internal teams and stakeholders throughout all project phases, from conceptual design to project completion.
Utilize MEPLA, AutoCAD, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software to produce comprehensive structural designs and detailed calculations for glazing and aluminium systems.
Perform and verify complex structural calculations ensuring compliance with UK regulations, Eurocodes and safety standards.
Collaborate with architects, designers, and project managers to develop innovative solutions that meet both aesthetic and structural requirements.
Ensure the successful integration of structural elements within the broader architectural vision, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Ideal Candidate: Chartered Structural Engineer (CEng) within the UK.
Expertise in architectural glazing, architectural aluminium, facade engineering and producing related structural calculations.
Proficiency in MEPLA, AutoCAD, and FEA software tools.
Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and industry standards.
Ability to manage multiple projects, delivering accurate and efficient solutions under tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, capable of advising and liaising with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in working on high-end and complex architectural projects is a plus.
