Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and analysing structures, ensuring they are safe, sustainable, and meet all regulatory requirements.
This role requires a strong foundation in engineering principles, project management skills, and proficiency in various design software.
Duties Develop and design structural systems for various projects, including buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure.
Conduct structural analysis using advanced software tools such as Mathcad, AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, CAD, and MicroStation.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure cohesive project execution.
Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for construction.
Manage projects from conception through to completion while ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Perform site inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and interns.
Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations to ensure best practices are followed.
Qualifications A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in structural engineering design and analysis.
Strong project management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively.
Proficiency in structural design software including Mathcad, AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, CAD, and MicroStation.
Excellent mathematical skills with a strong understanding of engineering principles.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail.
Professional Engineering (PE) licence or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
