?" Position : Structural Engineer Location : Glasgow Office Contract Duration : 12 Months About the Role We are seeking a skilled and motivated Structural Engineer to join our dynamic Civil, Structural & Architectural Group!
This exciting role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including traditional oil and gas operations and re-purposing infrastructure for carbon capture and electrification.

There is a requirement to be in the office at least three days per week.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure Technical Quality : Maintain high-quality engineering standards in all work.
Manage Change : Identify and address scope and schedule changes according to the Change Control Process.
Regulatory Compliance : Ensure all designs meet relevant regulations, codes, and procedures.
Budget & Schedule Management : Execute projects within budget and on time.
Prepare Estimates : Create project estimates and schedules, and assist in their review.
Client Engagement : Communicate effectively with clients and conduct site visits as needed.
Foster Learning : Promote knowledge sharing and collaboration within the project team.
Uphold Standards : Commit to health, safety, environmental, and quality protocols.
Qualifications: Education : Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
Experience : Strong technical background and hands-on engineering expertise.
Competence with analytical methods and understanding of analysis programs.
Familiarity with project planning, progress monitoring, and reporting.
Awareness of commercial, contractual, and administrative aspects of engineering projects.
Skills : Ability to estimate man-hours and materials, and effectively collaborate across disciplines to meet project deadlines.
Position : Lead Structural Engineer Location : Glasgow Office Contract Duration : 12 Months About the Role We are also looking for an experienced Lead Structural Engineer to lead our Civil, Structural & Architectural team.
This role involves leading complex projects and mentoring junior engineers, while managing project schedules and collaborating with a Global Integrated Delivery team.
The position requires office attendance at least three days per week.
Key Responsibilities: Plan & Prioritize : Manage your workload and that of junior staff to ensure timely delivery of all tasks.
Coordinate Globally : Oversee design and delivery efforts in collaboration with the Global Integrated Delivery team.
Ensure Quality : Maintain compliance with all corporate, departmental, and legislative standards.
Perform Calculations : Carry out engineering calculations and review work done by junior engineers for accuracy.
Innovate : Develop and propose value-adding options to enhance client satisfaction.
Mentor Junior Staff : Provide guidance to junior engineers to support their professional development.
Stay Updated : Keep up with new engineering technologies to ensure the best solutions are used.
Prepare Estimates : Develop and review estimates and schedules to aid in project planning.
Client Communication : Maintain effective communication with clients and conduct site visits as needed.
Manage Budgets : Ensure work is completed within budget and on schedule.
Qualifications: Education : Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent years of experience.
Experience : Proven experience in leading Civil, Structural, and Architectural teams on medium to large projects.
Skills: Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to make effective presentations.
Engineering Proficiency : A solid technical foundation and ability to deliver quality work.
Attention to Detail : Proactive and detail-oriented, with a focus on precision.
Project Management : Skilled in managing multiple projects of varying size and complexity.
Commercial Awareness : Familiarity with the commercial and contractual side of engineering.
Estimating : Ability to estimate resources and materials for engineering projects.
