We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to be an integral part of our UK field based Operations team.
You will be working from our Head Office in the West Midlands min.
1 - 2 days per week and then home-office/field based c. 3 days per week.

Here's what you'll do: Produce structural design calculations from technical survey reports to enable us to create floor apertures in domestic houses for through floor lifts Calculate for all structural materials, timber joists / concrete / Eco joists / beams / RSJ, Steels Prepare technical drawings (structural trimming solutions) reports/submissions for UK Building Control Proven experience of working within UK civil or structural engineering industry.
As our Structural Engineer, you'll be collaborating with and supported by our national field-based build management team, transforming homes and empowering greater mobility for our customers.

Company Vehicle Company Bonus Scheme Pension Scheme Life Assurance Enhanced Cash Health Scheme Additional Health & Wellbeing Benefits Cycle to Work Scheme Here's what we're looking for: Minimum BSc in Civil/Structural Engineering, MSc or MEng preferred Accreditation or working towards incorporated/Chartered membership of ICE or IStructE or an equivalent recognised professional body desirable.
Proficient in structural analysis software and CAD tools.
Strong understanding of UK building codes, standards, and UK build regulations.
Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, experience in customer management and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, as well as external stakeholders.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
