STATIC REPAIR STRESS ENGINEER NEW CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE WITH A LEADING AEROSPACE COMPANY FOR A REPAIR STRESS ENGINEERUp to £46ph inside IR35Initial contract until end of the yearOnsite in Filton - opportunity for 2 days a week from home35 hour working weekBPSS clearance required (client will provide sponsorship.WHAT WILL THE REPAIR STRESS ENGINEER BE DOING?The role will provide the opportunity to join a team responsible for the static strength analysis of metallic and composite structures.
This team work closely with the Design and F&DT engineers to assess and validate repairs to damaged aircraft structures.
Other roles include:Completing justification reports and other engineering documentationWorking with skilled designers to develop optimum repairsUsing ISAMI and Mathcad to perform structural static strength analysis of repairsThere is also another role paying up to £50ph for applicants who hold a repair stress signatureWE NEED THE REPAIR STRESS ENGINEER TO HAVE….Previous repairs experienceHave an Aircraft Structural Engineering backgroundKnowledge of ISAMI and MathcadExperience using a range of hand and computer methods to complete static analysisThe ability to go through a BPSS checkTO BE CONSIDERED….Please either apply by clicking online or emailing me directly to ****** For further information please call me on 0203 854 0120.
