Strategy and Transformation Lead Salary circa £80,000 We are looking for a curious, innovative, self-starter, analytical and forward-thinking Strategy and Transformation Lead, to join the Data team in Customer & Marketing.
Working alongside a range of different stakeholders including data product owners, CIO, Business SMEs and other transformation colleagues, you will help us deliver our organisations data ambition.
This is a great role for someone with strong relationship management skills, and able to establish effective working relationships across a broad stakeholder group.
We are looking for someone with experience of delivering complex change, financial acumen, commercial awareness, and analytical skills.
A bit about the job: You will work closely with product owners and change teams to ensure the successful delivery of data initiatives within our portfolio.
This involves developing and executing a comprehensive roadmap that outlines the key milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements for each project.
We focus on building clear and engaging artefacts that communicate the value and progress of our work to senior business audiences, ensuring that they understand the benefits and strategic importance of our initiatives.
To maintain high standards and ensure consistent progress, you will help us establish strong governance practices across all change activities.
This includes regular reviews with senior management to assess progress, identify risks, and evaluate milestones.
You ensure that our programs remain aligned with the guardrails set by the Aviva change frameworks, ensuring that all activities adhere to the company's strategic goals and regulatory requirements.
Additionally, we foster a culture of continuous improvement by leveraging feedback and lessons learned to refine our processes and outcomes.
Our approach emphasises collaboration across diverse teams to design and implement solutions, ensuring that all stakeholders are engaged and informed throughout the project lifecycle.
Clear communication channels are maintained to facilitate ongoing dialogue and alignment, ensuring that everyone involved is well-informed and aligned with our goals.
As a small team, you will also get involved in the day-to-day operations of the team to develop insights across the portfolio and be a key point of contact with the Data Portfolio team.
Skills and experience we're looking for: Must have strong communication skills.
Persuasive and articulate, ability to influence and negotiate at senior level, produce executive level outputs under tight deadlines.
Proven track record in successfully operating portfolio-wide governance with the ability to work with other teams quickly and effectively.
Change management, dependency management, financial management experience is a must alongside planning and complex process management skills.
Strong knowledge and experience in managing portfolio level risks and issues - spotting the thematic and defining the interventions to ensure they don't turn into issues.
