Eden McCallum's independent consultants have all worked at leading global and boutique strategy / management consulting firms and many have also worked in line roles.
They may focus on particular sectors, interests or geographies or work more broadly as generalists.
Some opt to work full time on client engagements while others choose to leave long gaps between projects or to work part time.
For some, freelancing is a long term career choice; for others it is something they do while figuring out their next move.
What does 'joining' Eden McCallum mean for independent consultants?
Those selected to join our Talent Pool are then considered for projects for which they have the right expertise and knowledge.
For each project, we select the most qualified consultants and discuss the scope with them.
Those consultants are then free to opt in or out.
We then carefully curate the team so that it will work successfully together and exceed our clients' expectations.
We serve clients on issues ranging from strategy to transformation.
Our in-house Partners shape and oversee each assignment, drawing on the firm's more than two decades of experience.
Our structure gives us the freedom to meet client needs in a bespoke way: some of our project teams look much like those in traditional firms, and others take different shapes and sizes, including individual consultants embedded deeply in the client organisation.
Our projects are supported by the outstanding analysts we recruit, train and develop in-house, ensuring rigorous analytics and the right leverage for our more experienced consultants.
And because our independent consultants are freed from the consulting firm's in-house ladder, they can focus on doing great work, rather than selling the next project.

Role requirements: Successful experience at a leading global or boutique strategy / management consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, Bain, BCG) delivering strategy and/or transformation projects.
Consultants may join us at any level, from analyst to senior Partner; at a minimum, consultants will have had at least 2 consecutive years' experience within their consulting firms and will be able to demonstrate advancement within the firm.
Preference for recent consulting experience (within the last 5 years), although this is not a requirement.
Our projects, however, require a strong consultant toolkit.
All sectors and strategy / transformation disciplines (see our website for service areas); generalists and specialists.
The majority of our work is delivered for clients in the UK, Benelux, and DACH, although we serve clients globally and work extensively across Europe and North America.
Therefore, we welcome consultants from all geographies, but will prioritise applicants who are based and/or have experience and the ability to work in our core markets.
