The Team The Asset Management (AM) Management & Strategy team is responsible for supporting the overall Asset Management business strategy and operating model design of Asset Management, supporting the CIO and rest of the AM senior leadership team.
The team supports leadership in a number of ways: developing and delivering the AM business strategy; executing strategic initiatives; preparing analysis, presentation material and management reporting; and supporting AM governance.
Asset Management has an ambitious growth strategy over the next 5 years, supported by the delivery of key change programmes and significant capability growth across multiple functions within Asset Management, as well within the broader Phoenix Group.
Key Responsibilities Supporting the development, execution and communication of the strategy for the leadership of Asset Management, including supporting the smooth running of key events (townhalls, conferences, committees), preparing briefing materials, and producing talking points for internal and external audiences Providing regular updates on business performance, key metrics and relevant news to inform business leadership Supporting the execution of cross function strategic initiatives Supporting the design, implementation and communication of the Asset Management target operating model across people, processes and technology Developing working relationships with counterparts in other teams in Asset Management and other areas across Phoenix to ensure close coordination What are we looking for?
Minimum Criteria Experience (Essential) Preparing creative, detailed and influential presentation materials and speaking points using a variety of mediums for senior executives Stakeholder management, relationship building and working closely alongside senior executives Experience of planning, managing and delivering projects Writing effective corporate communications for senior or broader audiences Demonstrated understanding, and interest in, the financial sector and related current affairs; ideally specific to asset management business Qualifications Strong academic record with Bachelors level or equivalent required Part qualified CFA would be beneficial Personal Attributes Highly motivated, self-starter, with first rate organisational skills, including the ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet multiple, competing deadlines Proven analytical skills with high attention to detail Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including the ability to articulate and describe complex issues in a precise manner Must be an effective team player We want to hire the whole version of you.
