We are KHWS, a strategic marketing agency, based in London.
We deliver effective marketing solutions that build in the power of data and behavioural science.
It's an approach designed to deliver hard working, super smart creative solutions that resonate.
We're fiercely proud of our independent status.
Since 1993 we've thrived by being a place where we're all encouraged to shine in an honest, forward-thinking, collaborative and inclusive culture.
About the role This is a 6-month contract for a capable Mid-to-Senior Strategist with a minimum of 4 – 6 years' experience in a strategy role at a marketing or creative agency.
We're looking for someone to get their teeth stuck into two key global projects working for multinational players.
Things you will be doing:
Managing the redevelopment of a 7-year global strategic plan.
You will be completing segmentation working across brand and product.
You'll be able to use storytelling to translate complex high level strategic thinking to a wide variety of regional marketeers.
Essentially, turning complex theory into a 'how to' playbook.
You will also be working on a separate project completing global segmentation and producing a final report.
You'll then be managing local teams to contribute focus group insights in a comparable way.
For you to be successful in this contract you'll need to be persuasive, have brilliant presentation skills, be able to negotiate challenges and manage senior clients.
It goes without saying that a sound understanding of brand strategy tools is essential and you'll be expected to demonstrate this on the projects.
You'll need to understand complex brand architecture and product offers.
These projects are worth circa £150-£200k revenue, so experience running an equivalent size of project relatively independently is key.
It would also be great if you have automotive experience as our clients sit within the commercial vehicles and motorsport sponsorship space.
This is great opportunity for someone who is thoughtful, articulate, confident in presenting their point of view (regardless of the seniority in the room), and curious about how the world works.
At your heart you are a storyteller, able to take the client on a journey from identifying the problem, narrowing down to a solution, and justifying a creative execution.
You'll need to be organised and pragmatic, able to turn your work around at a fast pace, always maintaining laser focus on the client brief.
You will report into a Senior Strategist and work closely with a Group Account Director and our CEO on elements of the projects.
