We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist (EMEA) to oversee $20M in annual purchasing, driving supply chain optimisation, supplier relationships, and cost efficiencies across a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This role supports growth through strategic supplier management, ensuring material quality, and enhancing logistics efficiency.
Key Responsibilities S&OP Coordination: Align material supply with plant needs through Sales & Operations Planning.
Contract Negotiations: Lead supplier agreements and manage pricing/terms.
Sourcing Strategies: Develop and execute value-driven category management strategies.
Cost & Quality: Analyse costs, enforce material standards, and resolve quality issues.
Supplier Development: Qualify new suppliers to support growth and mitigate risk.
New Product Development: Collaborate with R&D on material/component qualifications.
Logistics & ISO Compliance: Coordinate overseas logistics and maintain ISO standards (ISO 9001/14001/45001).
Skills & Qualifications Education: Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
Experience: 5+ years in international, multi-site manufacturing (Steel, Mining, Refractories, or Chemicals preferred).
ERP Systems: Proficiency in ERP (Oracle E-Business Suite preferred) and MRP.
Technical & Analytical Skills: Expertise in Procure-to-Pay, cost analysis, and financial reporting.
Communication: Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
