Description Data Management: Ensure daily tasks with regards to system updates and pricing updates are completed Assist and lead in data preparation for category reviews and tenders Request, review, analyse and report on Supplier Data Assist in analysis of rebate tracker data and the chasing of trackers with suppliers Co-ordinate new supplier set-ups and approvals through our onboarding processes and systems in conjunction with the Supply Chain Team Support the Strategic Sourcing Teams on contract build and execution, including loading onto our Contract Software System.
Support business sourcing requirements and ensure rebate detail from contracts is accurately captured on the trackers.
General Admin: Support the Strategic Sourcing Teams to ensure that the product and price files are continuously and accurately updated.
Support the Team on key project deliveries.
Assist the Directors and Managers in ensuring business compliance with company policies and procedures.
Communicate effectively with logistics and disseminate information across the buying team.
Supplier Performance Management: Compliance report analysis for key suppliers Provide input to Monthly Supplier Reviews Support and attend Monthly Supplier Reviews where required.
Key Requirements: Experience of working in buying function or procurement team is beneficial but not essential.
Ability to self start and work off own initiatives.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a team focus.
Ability to establish, build and harness long-term relationships both internally and externally.
Excellent attention to detail Ability to work and deliver to deadlines.
Ability to prioritise workload and differentiate between urgent and important tasks.
Excellent analytical and numerical ability, particularly through Excel.
