JOB TITLE: Stores Operative LOCATION : London Heathrow Airport REPORTING TO: Team Leader SHIFT PATTERN: 4 ON 2 OFF PAY RATE: £12.78 per hour OVERVIEW OF JOB DESCRIPTION Maintaining Loitering and transporting stock levels in a busy airport warehouse Main Duties & Responsibilities: Your main aim will be to ensure that par levels of stock meet customer requirements, replenishing and re-cycling items as necessary and processing orders using agreed procedures.
Stock items include a range of aircraft consumables and laundry items such as blankets, headrest covers and headsets.
You'll also clean and check storage units and equipment, ensure that equipment and materials are removed from vehicles when required and ensure accurate records are kept of usage and availability.
You should also note that the role will involve some manual handling activities - e.g., lifting and carrying cleaning equipment.
