Stores Operative

Stores assistant required for our global client based in Derby, this is a permanent opportunity to join a thriving business.
The stores operative will work within a workshop environment, carrying out inspections and repairs to customer specification, this role involves going to customer sites.
Duties include Visual inspection of engine stands & products delivered Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Painting duties Taking delivery of products and storage General workshop duties including the good housekeeping of the workshop area Manual handling with full adherence to Health & Safety standards Engage in training, development and education in order to keep skills and knowledge current and to strive for continual improvement Requirements for the role Visual Inspection FLT an advantage but not essential Proven experience in welding and fabrication (would be advantageous) Ability to read engineering drawings Willingness to travel to local sites and be on call Valid driving licence essential Full time 38 hours Mon – Thur 8:00 - 16:30 & Fri 7:00 - 13:00 Hourly Rate - £11.44- £11.52 per hour + Overtime rate Please click apply or call Pertemps Derby for more information on 01332 363000 opt 3 ''
