Stores Operative

Location: Hedge End Contract Type: 6 months (with potential for extension) Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm Pay Rate: £12.20 per hour (rising to £12.50 per hour after 12 weeks) Job Overview: Our client is seeking a Stores Operative to join a busy logistics team.
The role involves managing dispatch operations to ensure completed products are delivered efficiently to customers.
Key Responsibilities: Support the production team with the dispatch of products.
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of orders.
Manage stock levels and perform regular stock checks.
Utilise computer systems to maintain inventory records.
Handle goods inwards and goods outwards processes.
Adhere to all health and safety standards.
Skills & Qualifications: Attention to detail and a methodical approach.
Experience working in a Stores environment is essential.
Familiarity with computer systems for inventory management.
Self-sufficient with strong logical thinking .
A forklift license is preferable, but not essential.
Contract Details: Contract Duration: Initially 6 months, with the potential for extension based on business needs.
Pay Rate: Starting at £12.20 per hour, increasing to £12.50 per hour after 12 weeks.
