Stores Assistant

Job Specification Job Title: Stores Assistant Location: LimavadyRoleIn this role you will assist our existing stores team to meet the demands of our busy factory and site-based teams.
A key part of this will be accurately picking and packing kits and ensuring they are available in a designated area when needed.Duties and ResponsibilitiesReceive and quality / quantity check incoming deliveriesPack away to project locations and replenish stock bins as necessaryAssembling and packing kits for factory and site useAssist in stores / yard, keeping a clean and tidy work environmentAdherence to safety, environmental and quality proceduresOther store and yard duties as assignedEssential RequirementsA minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar roleExperience in using Microsoft Office applications; MS Word, Excel and OutlookA full driving licence and access to a carStrong attention to detail, organised and methodicalGood communication skills, positive attitude.Able to work independently and as part of a teamDesirable RequirementsPrevious forklift experience / current licenceExperience in a mechanical workshop Whilst previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is desirable, we can assist with training for any applicant that is considering a career change or new to / returning to the workplace.The role will involve manual handling
