Our client, a family run company who specialise in the sales of sofas and beds are looking for a competent and driven Manager to come in and manage the day to day operations of both the store and warehouse based in Gloucester.
You will be responsible for overseeing 6 members of staff as well as the management of customer services, logistics, fulfilment and sales & marketing.
As well as constant monitoring of key KPIs such as delivery success rate, customer satisfaction and order value, volume & upsells.
Working closely with the Directors, you will need to be a highly dedicated and experienced Manager that is willing to take on the responsibility of running both the online & retail stores and the management of the warehouse.
Industry knowledge and training will be provided.
Responsibilities: -Ensuring deliveries are carried out smoothly & effectively with a very high success rate -Work with couriers and other services to coordinate services for customers -Handle most of the incoming customer service requests -Warehouse & inventory management -Maximise sales volume both in store and online -Keep in-store and online customer service standards high -Delivery route planning for the week ahead -Handle all after sale customer communications to ensure an exceptional delivery & follow up service -Management of 6 staff across 2 locations & out on the road -Organise & systemise the warehouse & sales funnel to ensure accurate stock records are kept -Assist in unloading and loading vans & lorries when required -Hiring and training new staff members -Management of staff holidays & sickness Candidate Attributes: -Proven management experience -A strong desire to contribute to the companys ongoing success -Strong work ethic -Good IT skills and knowledge of compute systems -Exceptional customer service and people skills -Full UK driving licence and own vehicle Hours: Full time hours with weekend working Salary: Up to £50k per annum depending on experience TPBN1_UKTJ
