Who We Are Known Source is a grassroots digital platform of curated second hand fashion dealers.
We exist to make it easy for people to discover quality clothing and continue its life.
Our vision is to help create a World in which every piece of clothing lives multiple lives.
First launched in November 2022, we are now at a point of acceleration.
We have just re-launched our website, house a network of 30 dealers with 2 million collective followers, and in August this year we will be starting a year-long tenancy in Westfield Stratford.
Our dealers are micro-influencers, and our Westfield store grants us the opportunity to have an omnichannel approach with our users.
We are backed by an experienced family of investors, driven by expertise in our founding team and board of advisors, and have built the best community in second hand fashion.
We are seeking a Store Manager to lead our Westfield store from its opening in late July.
As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our Westfield store.
Your role will include: Leading a team in alignment with the Known Source Vision, Purpose and Values Leading and supporting the oversight and leadership of the floor and back-office which includes the five pillars of the business (experience, elevation, education, and people) Helping to create the Known Source Guest journey Leading the training and coaching of a high performing team whilst ensuring a commitment to a best-in-class guest experience Leading by example, coaching in the moment, and empowering the team to develop themselves in the role Overseeing the entire employee experience from onboarding through offboarding (hiring, training, developing, performance management, and termination) Committing to, and delivering on, bold objectives in retail and online acquisition Building brand presence and guest loyalty by upholding our company's mission and values Being a hands-on leader by being present on the floor leading the guest experience Working with the visual merchandiser to ensure that the appearance of the store is always elevated and on brand Empowering your team to use their best judgement in all guest service matters Maintenance of the POS system, and supporting the Inventory Manager in eCommerce distribution Regularly reviewing the efficiency of all our procedures and actively leading improvements Being a conscience leader, ensuring that our team feels motivated, are developing through the role and our meeting our business objectives Working with the Sales Associates to collect customer data and feedback Ordering supplies as necessary to keep the store running smoothly Analysing store performance and presenting your analysis to the co-founders regularly You will have: 5+ years of leadership and retail management experience Experience in the fashion industry A strong passion for second hand clothing, circularity and communities Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to recruit, hire, train, lead, motivate, retain and develop future leaders An innovative mind, constantly seeking to bring new experiences to retail A strong entrepreneurial drive with a passion for growing businesses A passion for service and delivering an exceptional experience for guests A proven ability to set a clear vision, align your team around goals and foster commitment to these objectives You effectively balance developing autonomy in your team with ensuring they hit the necessary business objectives Strong written and verbal communication Excellent time management and problem-solving ability Efficient with data analysis Why Apply?
