The duties of the Stock Coordinator include: To control and manage the handling and storage of unsalvageable / scrap parts I.A.W defined processesTo ensure scrap parts are moved to the scrap storage area I.A.W defined processesTo liaise with the product linesTo work closely with Product Lines To liaise with Product Lines and FinanceTo ensure scrap parts are securely placed into skip once cleared for disposalTo maintain documentation for scrap partsTo monitor the remaining shelf life of parts and products with limited shelf lifeTo dispose of any parts or products where the shelf life is due to expire in line with defined processesTo constantly monitor and review operating methodsTo be conscious of Industrial Relations and conduct operations in such a manner as to aid the presentation of the company to employees and their representatives;All duties shall be undertaken in compliance with Safety and Environmental Regulations and Company ProceduresTo be aware of and understand company policies, procedures and agreements.Any other duties required as may be reasonably requested The ideal Stock Coordinator should meet the following requirements: Equivalent to GCSE A-C gradesThe ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and proactive, with a solid understanding of inventory management and supply chain logistics within the aviation industry Good knowledge, awareness and understanding of PPEIt would be preferable but not essential for the applicant to have worked in an aerospace environmentConfident IT skills including Microsoft OfficeAn awareness of the Major Accident Prevention plan (MAPP)Team player who is also able to work autonomouslyExcellent time management skillsStrong organisational skillsAbility to forge strong relationships with other teams across the business Office and Production environment, based in HayesFull time roleFlexibility required as May be require to work additional overtime hoursWorking with computers and screens for prolonged periods Candidate must have the right to live and work in the UK unrestrictedMandatory Training will be required
