About the role.
A fantastic opportunity for an Stock Controller has arisen to join the team at our Bo'ness site, which employs over 1,000 people and produces food-to-go salads and salad accompaniments to a number of customers.
It is located 3.5 miles from Linlithgow and 8 miles to Falkirk.
Accountabilities: Order Processing - placing order against Forecast in a timely efficient manner to ensure supply to production and customer Waste management - ensure disposals are kept to a minimum through effective stock control and best practises Workplace transport - Publish booking in schedule daily and gather transport bookings via Email / telephone.
NPD - Participate in NPD processes and production trials where required to ensure that they run successfully Returnable trays / containers - assist with administration and effective controlled collections of Returnable trays / containers Communication - Communicate effectively with Production around materials supply and highlight issues to Stock control Seniors / manager Health & Safety - ensure stores capacities are upheld and managed, assist with and show H&S best practises Administration - assist management with administration tasks and data capture, this will include - transport costs / KPI data capture / offsite storage costs Assist and resolve Invoice queries through effective control of receipts and work hand in hand with site accounts team About you.
To be considered for the role, you must: Have previously worked in similar role within a fast-paced warehouse / logistics environment Have a good understanding of food safety best practice.
Know how to work as part of a team Have an excellent attention to detail What you'll receive.
