Job Title: Graduate Geotechnical Engineer Location: Milton Keynes, UK Employment Type: Permanent / Full-Time Salary: Competitive Overview: We are currently partnering with a leading engineering consultancy in the UK to recruit a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer for their Milton Keynes office.

The successful candidate will work on a range of challenging infrastructure projects and will receive full support in their professional development, including towards achieving chartership.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct site investigations to evaluate ground conditions and gather geotechnical data Assist in geotechnical analysis and design, including foundations, slope stability, retaining structures, and earthworks Carry out soil and rock testing both in the field and in the laboratory Use geotechnical software to analyze data and produce models for project designs Prepare geotechnical reports and contribute to the production of detailed design documentation Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, structural, and environmental engineers Ensure that all work complies with current health and safety regulations and industry standards Attend client meetings and site visits, providing technical support as required Candidate Requirements: A Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or a closely related field from a top UK university Excellent understanding of geology, geomorphology and geotechnics Strong communication skills with the ability to write clear, concise technical reports Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team Willingness to travel to site locations and conduct fieldwork Full indefinate leave to remain in the UK Full UK driving licence Desirable Experience: Any internships, placements, or work experience in geotechnical engineering or civil engineering projects Familiarity with UK regulations and standards such as Eurocode 7, British Standards, and geotechnical design codes What's On Offer: Competitive starting salary and benefits package Clear pathway to professional development and chartership A varied and stimulating workload with opportunities to work on major infrastructure projects Mentorship from experienced geotechnical engineers and support for continued learning This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate who is looking to take their first step in their geotechnical engineering career.
