The Real Estate Group at Evelyn Partners incorporates people from across our Tax, Transactions, Assurance and Advisory service areas.
In Real Estate Tax, we provide tax advisory and compliance services to UK and international property investors and developers, including funds and asset managers, REITs, overseas investors, housebuilders, owner-occupiers, landed estates, and private clients.
We also work closely with our colleagues in Transaction Services in relation to Real Estate M&A assignments, providing financial and tax due diligence, tax structuring and transactional support services.
Many clients and targets are international, whether investing from overseas into the UK or investing into assets abroad, and, therefore, many of our assignments involve working with colleagues from across our CLA Global network.

We are looking for candidates with specific experience in Real Estate who would thrive in a dynamic and entrepreneurial working environment.
Candidates should have excellent technical skills that they can apply in both an advisory and compliance capacity, and strong client/project management skills to support senior team members with delivering advice and growing client accounts.

What you will be doing in the role - To lead the Stamp Taxes practice for the Evelyn Partners Group.
You will be expected to take strategic responsibility for the Stamp Taxes practice and grow the business through leveraging internal opportunities and building external referral networks.
Supporting the Real Estate Team and the wider practice Working with a variety of people across many parts of the business Expected to structured the Stamp Taxes team to faciliate continued training and development for key staff members Improving technical enhancement for the practice as a whole Establishing good practicesfor other parts of the business engaging with the Stamp Taxes team and build relationships with HMRC Stamp Taxes.
You will take ultimate responsibility for the delivery of complex Stamp Taxes assignments for the firm.
Qualifications Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA) and/or CTA (or breadth of knowledge equivalent to CTA, e.g.
law qualification) Additional Information Key Responsibilities Oversee the delivery of Stamp Taxes advice for various teams across the practice.
Provide exceptional client service – both to partners/directors in the firm, and to clients directly.
Lead on complex Stamp Taxes assignments providing technical sign-off and consultation.
Identify opportunities to grow a client account and/or to manage risks.
Act as a trusted adviser and engage with clients on wider commercial and strategic issues.
Staff Management and Development Liaison with Partner and Directors.
Counsel and develop junior staff through delegation and on the job training.
Appraisals/monitor staff performance including acting as a Line Manager.
Work collaboratively with peers in the team and across firm to ensure a joined-up approach.
Practice Development Enhance technical knowledge and capability in the Stamp Taxes team.
Grow internal network & external referral network for business development.
Drive business development through specialist insights.
Train specialist team on wide range of Stamp Taxes issues.
Improve firm-wide knowledge on Stamp Taxes opportunities & risks.
Establish relationships with Stamp Taxes technical bodies and HMRC.
Significant experience in Stamp Taxes gained from practice and/or industry.
Client driven and commercially minded.
Strong awareness of other key taxes and, in particular, for the Real Estate sector.
Excellent project management, working with various teams.
Demonstrable experience of managing people and clients.
Experience of dealing with senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
