As a Staff Software Engineer, you will be a core member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing and executing a vision for the Passfort product. We practice an agile, highly customer-focused, and learning-based approach to product development.
Responsibilities: Actively lead large roadmap initiatives by setting the technical direction and contributing hands-on work to ensure successful delivery.Champion observability by implementing monitoring and logging practices in your development work.Engage hands-on with Rust, Python, and React: Work with and actively learn and contribute code in these technologies.Ensure high-quality software development through involvement in code reviews and participating in our on-call rotation to resolve real-world issues.Mentor junior team members through technical guidance and by setting an example with your own hands-on work.Proactively learn and adapt to address functional and scaling challenges.Champion and drive engineering processes and best practices by embodying these practices in your daily work.Contribute as an active member of a cross-functional team, implementing solutions that adhere to an outcome-based approach.Set the engineering standard through your work, emphasizing clean code and the importance of testing.Qualifications: Proven experience in hands-on development of scalable, high-performance applications.Versatility in programming languages, with experience in Python and a willingness to learn Rust.Deep hands-on experience with large codebases, resolving complex issues through direct engagement.Strong background in system design, implementing scalable solutions.Experience in a collaborative, Agile software development environment, with a focus on hands-on pair programming and active participation in code reviews.Exceptional analytical and reasoning skillsMoody's is an equal opportunity employer.
