This position works directly with a franchised business location.

Job Summary To provide high-quality care to all patients.
To assist in directing staff in the support of the care of our patients.
Responsibilities Provide high-quality patient care.
Perform complete, detailed, and accurate health histories, review patient records, develop comprehensive medical assessments, and order laboratory, radiological and diagnostic studies appropriate for complaint and condition of the patient.
Ensure all charts are filled out and medical records are completed in a timely fashion.
Interpret and analyze patient data to determine patient status, patient management and treatment.
Institute emergency measures and emergency treatment or appropriate stabilization measures in situations such as cardiac arrest, shock, hemorrhage, convulsions, poisoning, and allergic reactions.
Process biological specimens when needed.
Analyze and interpret lab studies and reports.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications Board Certified/Board Eligible – Emergency Room, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine (w/ER or UC experience).
Excellent communicator with staff, patients, and family.
Confident in suturing, splinting, minor office procedures, x-ray reads, treating all ages.
Professional appearance and attitude.
DOT Certification, preferred.
If not DOT-certified, applicant willing to become DOT certified (employer will pay for training).
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
Active and current medical licensure in the state of practice, DEA number, and state-controlled substance certificate, as required.
Ability to multi-task and work independently.
