This position involves preparing and maintaining sterile equipment, assisting surgeons during operations, and ensuring patient safety throughout surgical interventions.
The flexibility in scheduling enables scrub nurses to manage their work hours effectively, contributing to a balanced lifestyle while providing essential support in high-pressure surgical environments.
It's a role that requires precision, teamwork, and a dedication to upholding the highest standards of patient care, making scrub nursing both challenging and immensely rewarding.What you can add:Expert Clinical : Practice acquired through post registration academic study.Leadership to motivate the department and team to ensure excellent nursing care supervision and support to junior staffs.Professional Role: To ensure that all nursing procedures are carried out in accordance with West herts Trust policies.Maintaining personal contact with patients, relatives and carer being sensitive to their needs for courtesy, dignity and privacy.Managing the department in the absence of Senior and Junior Sister co-ordinating the clinical team and delegating duties as appropriate.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices.
Experience Essential A minimum of 6 months paid experience in as Staff Nurse - Outpatients in Acute Hospitals within the last 3 years.
In addition to experience, all Registered Nurse roles will be required to provide evidence of Statement of NMC Registration Degree /Diploma in Nursing
