To provide skilled assistance in the Outpatient Department to both patients and clinicians. To work as part of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure all patients receive the best care, investigations and information that they need or want. The postholder is expected to carry out all the relevant forms of care without direct supervision and may be required to demonstrate procedures to, and supervise, students or unqualified staff.

Person Specification Education, Qualification and Training Essential Good general education Registered General Nurse or Enrolled Nurse Skills, Abilities & Knowledge Essential Ability to communicate clearly with patients and multi-disciplinary team. Ability to write clearly and legibly in English. Knowledge of the NMC Code of Professional Conduct. Knowledge of the Data Protection Act. Desirable Able to manage own workload with supervision.
