Job summary To provide skilled assistance in the Outpatient Department to both patients and clinicians.
To work as part of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure all patients receive the best care, investigations and information that they need or want.

Person Specification Education, Qualificaation and Training Essential Good general education Registered General Nurse or Enrolled Nurse Skills, Abilities & Knowledge Essential Ability to communicate clearly with patients and multi-disciplinary team.
Ability to write clearly and legibly in English.
Knowledge of the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.
Knowledge of the Data Protection Act.
Desirable Able to manage own workload with supervision.
Knowledge of the role of an Outpatient Nurse.
Sound knowledge of Wound care and common medical and surgical conditions.
Computer skills.
Knowledge of evidence-based practice.
Good time management skills Experience Essential Sound post registration experience.
Desirable Previous Outpatient work or experience.
Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
