Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen on Lanyon Stroke Unit, we are a 22 bedded unit providing stroke rehabilitation to our community.
Plan to decant to a new build Stroke Unit onsite early next you have an interest in stroke and would like to join our dynamic multi-disciplinary team we would love to hear from you.Opportunities for self development and stroke specific training available and supported.
Main duties of the job To work as a skilled member of the nursing To provide a high standard of compassionate patient centred To lead and supervise the work of unqualified staff within the teamo To communicate effectively at all levels within the multi-disciplinary To be able to take charge of the ward in the absence of senior nursing staff, as deemed appropriate by the Ward Manager or Matron About us We're an NHS community and mental health provider Trust based in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
We deliver community and hospital-based care to improve people's physical and mental health.
We also provide specialist support to people with dementia or a learning disability.

This includes doctors, nurses, therapists, plus admin and support staff.
We work in people's homes, in community clinics and bases.

A third of people who live in Cornwall are supported by acute hospital services in Devon.
As a result, we also work closely with our partners in Devon.
